Smoked Cheddar and Apple Fondue

Smoked Cheddar and Apple Fondue
(From Rick Rodgers' Fondue Cookbook)
Serves 2-3


1 cup apple cider
1 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 pound smoked Cheddar (grated makes about 5-6 cups)
1 tbsp flour
3 tbsp apple butter (non-spiced)


1. Mix the flour and Cheddar together.
2. Heat the apple cider and lemon juice on medium in fondue pot.
3. In small batches, add the cheese to the fondue pot and mixed constantly until it melts, adding next batch etc.
4. When the cheese is all melted, add the apple butter and stir until well-combined. Now it's ready to go!

Serve with bread cubes.
