Toast-ettes

Toast-ettes
(for two)

Ingredients:

4 pieces of bread
Cheese
(we've used Cheezwhiz, shredded Cheddar, Swiss slices...anything that melts!)
4 eggs
4 pieces of bacon

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Cook bacon until nearly done.
3. Toast the bread until it's just a little hard (feeling like stale bread, but not browned).
4. On a pan lined with parchment paper, place the bread pieces and with your fingers, make an indentation where the egg will go, be careful not to break the bread.
5. Spread or sprinkle your cheese all over the bread, avoiding the indentation for the egg.
6. Carefully crack your egg into the "hole".
7. Cut each slice of bacon in half and place the bacon where you want, we put it around the egg.
8. For a nearly well-done egg, we cook it for 20 minutes.
