Strawberry Syrup



Strawberry Syrup
(From Williams Sonoma Blog)
(makes about 1.5 cups)

Ingredients

1 pound strawberries
1/2 cup maple syrup

Directions

1. Bring the strawberries and syrup to a boil. Simmer 10 minutes. Let cool about 10 minutes. Use an immersion blender to blend up.

I have read that this type of syrup/jam can last for months in the fridge <== I have not tested this!!
