Rain's Marinara



Rain's Marinara
(makes about 5-6 cups of sauce)

- In olive oil, sauté 2 chopped onions until soft, salt well.

- Add 3 chopped garlic cloves.

-  Chop and add 2 cans whole tomatoes.

- Season with s&p, a tsp of brown sugar, basil, oregano and parsley to taste.

- Add ¼ cup white wine. (red is good too!)

- Cook on low, covered, stirring often until desired thickness (about 30 minutes).

- Blend when cool if you want it smoother! :)
