Pretzel Bites

Pretzel Bites

1 & 1/3 cups baking soda
4 cups warm water
1 package Pillsbury pizza dough
1 egg
Coarse salt


1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

2. In a bowl, mix warm water with baking soda.

3. Cut up the pizza dough into small bite-sized pieces.

4. Dip the bites into the baking soda bath, dab the bottoms on a paper towel and then onto a parchment lined baking sheet.

5. Whisk the egg and brush onto the bites. Sprinkle with coarse salt.

6. Bake for 12 minutes or until the bites are golden brown. I turned off the oven when there was 5 minutes left so as not to burn the bottoms.
