May 28th: Thursday Art Date With Rain - Cracks and Crevices

Orford National Park (2011): According to the Forest Ranger, this large boulder was hit by lightning and cracked right down the middle.

Hello Friends! 😊

May 28th's theme for our art date is: Cracks and Crevices (please visit Rain's Garden on Thursday May 28th to post your link!).

Does your voice crack?
Do you crack under pressure?
Do you crack on despite obstacles?
How about cracking open a great bottle of wine?
Or cracking the code to an ancient mystery?
Do you like the crack of lightning during a storm?
Do you crack up when you see a funny movie?

A crack can turn into a crevice if not taken care of...but then there are many natural crevices...wrinkles on a face...underground caves...deep holes in the ground and fault lines in the Earth.

I can't wait to see what you come up with! Here are some internet images to inspire you!
