Homemade Fruit Ketchup
(makes a good 2 cups)

10 fresh tomatoes or 2 cans whole tomatoes
4 apples, peeled and chopped
2 small onions, chopped
1/3 cups white vinegar
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
1 & 3/4 cups brown sugar
2 tsp salt
2 tsp pickling spices (wrapped in a cheesecloth bag to remove later)


1. Place everything in a pot, bring to a boil, stir frequently and simmer 1 hour, 15 minutes. (Or until it reaches the consistency you like).

2. Remove the bag of spices, let it cool and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
