Coffee and Baileys Ice Cream
(Adapted from Williams Sonoma Ice Cream)
(makes about 1 liter)
1.5 cups whole milk
1.5 cups heavy cream
1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 oz Baileys, cold
1. Whisk milk, cream, coffee, sugar and salt together until sugar dissolves. Add vanilla, stir and let stand 15 minutes.
2. Cover and refridgerate minimum 3 hours.
3. Pour the milk mixture into the ice cream maker and freeze according to instructions.
4. Just as the ice cream seems ready, drizzle in the Baileys. When it's all combined, remove and freeze at least 3 hours.
