Alfredo Sauce


Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients

1 1/4 cups half milk, half cream
5 tbsp unsalted butter
3/4 cup grated Parmesan
Pepper, to taste
Pinch nutmeg

Directions

1. In a large saucepan over high heat, bring the cream and butter to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 1 minute. Add 1/2 cup of the cheese and whisk until smooth, about 1 minute more. Remove from the heat and season with pepper and a generous pinch of nutmeg.

2. Put the cooked pasta in a warmed large bowl. Pour on the sauce, sprinkle with 1/4 cup of the cheese and toss well.

Serve immediately.

This looks fabulous! I didn't know you had this other site. I printed two copies of the cheese and onion bread recipe, one for me, one for my daughter.
