It's National Puppy Day!

What a great excuse to showcase photos of Jack :) Look at that big mouth lol...I often wonder if he could fit a soccer ball in there...a year ago we would never have been able to get that ball out of his mouth, now he drops it with a little grumble. He's come so far!

***************************

Because of my day-long nap yesterday I got nothing at all done. I guess that's okay once in a while! We had leftover Coq Au Vin last night and watched Moonshiners in bed until midnight when I drifted into my night-long nap lol...But today I have the chili in the slow cooker, the laundry is being done, the dogs had playtime with the balls and I want to paint, but don't feel my creativity, I hope it comes back soon. Hope everyone has a nice day, post about your dogs! :))

Cute! I saw that on the news when I was working out. Lots of cute puppies.

Lots of moonshiners once operated here in Franklin Co. Va. but the government harassed most out of business. The TV show is full of idiots.

Thanks Kristina :)

I know Gill, the show is a big source of laughter for us.

Oh, those big brown eyes!

Hi Debra :)) I feel like he's thinking "what is that thing you keep pointing and clicking at me??"

The biggest moo-moo eyes I have ever seen! He's a treasure! I would think, after your marathon cooking day, that you deserve a break...

Thanks Susan, I just love Jack, his eyes are so expressive. :) I wish I had the energy to do marathon cooking every day! I love being in the kitchen! I'm glad for my slow cooker today though :)

Don't feel badly about what you call your "do nothing day." You more than make up for it every other day! It's good to hear you actually take needed time off when your body dictates it. I need encouragement to do the same. :o/

Jack is a cutie and you two deserve a lot of credit for giving him such a good life. And the same good life for his two "sisters!"

I had no idea it was National Puppy Day! I have no puppies and other than Miss Peeps who is a kitten who thinks she's a dog....we are way over t he "puppy stage" in this house! LOL! But Jack melts my heart! Those eyes are just heart breakers! I have fallen in love with your dog!

Oh what a darling boy!!!! Love his eyes - I see a bit of mischief in them! :)

I should get back into blogging so I can post pics of my crew. I am too addicted to Instagram at the moment! :)

Thanks Nik :) Happy National Puppy Day to your pups too, though I can't name them all! :)

Thanks Mama Pea :)) I need to schedule a little more relaxation time though. I only tend to stop when my body says "enough", it's a bad habit.

Hi Sam :)) Lol at Miss Peeps...I think that two of our cats think they're dogs too, it's funny seeing them behave like each other! Jack has shifty eyes lol...very expressive, we're in love with him too :))

Thank you Toirdhealbheach :)) He does have a little bit of an ego, he knows how to get what he wants!! :)

Hi Dianna :)) Yes, he's mischievous, but so sweet. We got really lucky with him, and all of our dogs, still hurts my heart to think anyone would abandon them or simply not look for them. I'd love to see your crew! Let me know if you ever get back to blogging!
